Also inducted was sports writer Bruce Brown of Lafayette.

On August 17, 2023, Amy Armstrong, Director of the UL Alumni Association, and Warren Perrin appeared on Brazda’s morning show, where they discussed the induction of UL Olympic Weightlifter Walter Imahara and sportswriter Bruce Brown into the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame. After the segment, Warren presented Brazda with a copy of his book, The University of Louisiana’s National Championship Weightlifting Teams.
